Since its inception in 1993, The Lancaster Alliance, a group of CEO's/senior managers from 16 (now 17) major employers, has desired to ignite positive change in the economic condition of the City of Lancaster by identifying, supporting, influencing and, when necessary, initiating solutions to critical issues. Originally, the Alliance was particularly focused on the areas of housing, education and jobs. Today, their primary focus is on crime prevention and economic development.

The objective of The Lancaster Alliance is to initiate, support and influence activities and conditions that are believed to materially affect the safety and economic condition of the city - particularly the downtown.

The Alliance is committed to working with all individuals, organizations, institutions and others interested in ensuring the City of Lancaster's positive and progressive future.
